Absent in blogging, absent minded, and absent from work for a few days due to back problems. I think I had a pinched nerve due to lower back issues. I was able to work at home for a few days, and the doc gave me some nice drugs to help deal with it. I am much better now.
That means that home improvement projects are on hold. Bummer. I just want to get done with the few things we have in progress this winter, which gives me a significant chunk of time. The only problem is once I start the bathroom, we won't be able to use it for quite a while, which is going to cause us to be inconvenienced!
The fall colors are almost maxed out here. We are planning our yearly excursion to Kettle-Morane state park next weekend to view the colors and take pictures. It is always a great place to see them.
Our little "Boogs" is doing very well. We are teaching him calculus now, and will be working on differential equations soon. He is having a little bit of a hard time with some things, but he will get it eventually.
The Packers play the Eagles tonight on Monday night football. I fear the Pack is going to get slaughered. Of course I am routing for the Colts as always, and I have taken up cheering the Saints on this year. It is always fun to watch Drew Brees and Reggie Bush. I am hoping they make post season play.

I hope you enjoy your week-end traveling and the colors. By the way, as a former teacher, I think I would wait awhile on the Calculus!!! :) Love you
