It is a bit scary isn't it? I see one of three things happening. Christ returns, or we learn to adapt to a much less lavish life-style since resources will be very expensive, or we will adapt and find new and amazing ways to produce food and energy. It just shows just how incredibly wasteful we as Americans, and those trying to imitate us are. There is a gazillion stories out there warning us of all this, and we as humans will always make the mistake of ignoring the warnings until it is too late. I fear with how much we have damaged God's planet that it is irrepairable. If I was a betting man, I would put my money on number 1, however that bet would be moot.
