Bathroom Update

This weekend was tiling weekend. It is quite challenging to line everything up to start since all sides of the tub were slightly sloping, so the first row needed to be cut to fit. The top was the same. Fortunately the walls themselves were very straight so all edges were the same size with one minor exception It took all of Saturday and Sunday just to get the tiles up, and I have yet to do the outer edge with the bullnose tiles (done tonight). The next step is grouting, which will take much less time and should be done in the following two evenings. See Katrina's blog for some pics. I am still working on mudding, which is such a pain. The plan is to have that done this weekend in conjunction with the floor tile, which I should be doing on Saturday. The floor will be much easier than the tub.
